Introduction
This store was founded in 1999, and sells the Changhua specialty, fried glutinous rice cakes. One taste of this cake and you are guaranteed to crave for a second and a third—it’s just that good. Freshly fried glutinous rice clusters are quickly mixed in powdered peanut. The owner says that the peanuts used are of the highest quality, so it’s no wonder that even though there’s nothing inside the rice cakes, a single rich layer of powdered peanut is enough to make them savory as well as chewy

1.How long have you been in business? Which generation are you?
It's been fourteen years since this shop was first opened, and I'm currently the first generation.
2.How much are you able to sell a day?
It entirely depends on the number of passersby, so I don't have a solid number.
3.What are your specialties?
People usually order fried glutinous rice cakes, tofu puddings, and tangyuan soup.
4.When do you need to begin the preparations for each day, and how much time do you spend?
We prepare in the morning, for about two hours.
5.What is your management philosophy?
We open our shop to make a living.
6.Were there any experiences since your opening that you found particularly difficult or unforgettable?
Not really.
7.Do you have a few words to share with us?
Kids should study hard.
8.Do you find anything that is in need of improvement around Xiaoxi?
No.

Reflections
I thought the fried glutinous rice cakes were delicious: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, almost impeccable when coupled with powdered peanut. Business is fairly good, and seats are usually quickly taken up by frequent customers. Also, me and my classmate Ting-yu chatted with the owner, and found out that she and her husband also graduated from Chung Shan Elementary School! She praised how beautiful our schoolyard was! And even treated us to two pieces of fried glutinous fried cakes! In addition, we saw many photos in the shop of the owner with celebrities, such as one with Giddens, another with food program hostess Sasa, and yet another with Mr. Chih-wei and Ms. Zhi-ting, host and hostess of another food program.
