Taking the Bus
Visitors living in nearby cities or the neighboring counties Taichung and Nantou can choose to travel to Changhua by bus. Yuanlin Bus, Changhua Bus, and Kuo Kuang Bus all have stops near the train station and Xiaoxi Street.
Yuanlin Bus (see map
) is located on Zhongzheng Road. Walking out of Yuanlin Bus and across from the building is Jixiang Street, and on the corner of that street is Lee Lau Cheng Jerked Meats (see map
) , the jerked meat shop opened by the same family who also opened a jerked meat shop with the same name in Beidou, which provides ideal items for purchase as souvenirs. Walking down Jixiang Street and walk down to right at the intersection with Yongxing Street, one can soon see the West Gate Fu De Temple (see map
). Turning left from there one will enter the Xiaoxi Street area; A-shu Danzai Noodles (see map 
), Ximen Taiwanese Meatballs (see map 
) are located here.

Changhua Bus (see map 
) is located in front of Changhua Train Station, next to the KFC on Zhongzhen Road. This was once the location of the north town wall gate during the Qing Dynasty, and the famous North Gate Entrance Taiwanese Meatballs is also named after the gate. Exiting Changhua Bus and, facing the train station, walking straight to the left, passing through the street crossing, through Guangfu Road, one can see at the corner the “Xiaoxi Street Impression Logo” monument, and, walking straight from here, one can enter the Xiaoxi area proper through the Bicycle Lane, or, taking a left turn and walking in the direction of the first alley entrance, one will arrive at the starting point of Changan Street, from which he can likewise enter Xiaoxi.

Kuo Kuang Bus (see map
) is located next to Changhua Bus Main Station, and so tourists from out of town, after getting of the bus, can head south in the direction of KFC, reach Guanfu Road, and find the Xiaoxi Street Impression Logo (see map
).
